About Rodney Shelden Fehsenfeld —
He has been labeled – not self-described – as the godfather of grunge typography in an advertisement for RayGun Fonts in 1993 by type design co-hort Bill Nelson.
His work has been featured in HOW, IdN, Emigre, and I.D. design magazines; GRAPHIS, Type In Motion, Graphic Design In America and Faces On The Edge: Type In The Digital Age design publications and annuals; and on exhibit at the AIGA/Northwest Design Awards Show, the Royal Academy of Art/London and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum/New York.
